E. Joseph Domingo, DDS

Dr. E. Joseph Domingo was born and raised on Long Island, New York. Dr. Domingo received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from The State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1992. Dr. Domingo was accepted to New York University College of Dentistry and completed his dental training in 1996. He then completed a one year General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 1997. Dr. Domingo went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training in 2001 at Lincoln Medical Center, an affiliated hospital of the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Domingo was chosen as Chief Resident of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000. Dr. Domingo completed both the written and oral examinations of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to become Board Certified in 2005.

 

Dr. Domingo is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Diplomate of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, The Rhode Island Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Providence District Dental Society and past president of the Greater Woonsocket Dental Society.

 

Dr. Domingo practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at both of our locations with particular interest in dental implant surgery, bone grafting procedures, maxillofacial reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma surgery, anesthesia and dentoalveolar surgery.

 

Dr. Domingo lives in Providence with his two sons Joseph and Jackson.

 

 

Frederick A. Hartman, DMD

Dr. Frederick A. Hartman is an innovative oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is board certified and thrilled to be a part of the Rhode Island medical and dental communities.  His patient and affable demeanor, outstanding clinical training, and passion for delivering only the highest quality patient care have made him a welcome addition to surgical practice in Southern New England.  

 

Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Dr. Hartman is a graduate of the University of Florida.  Fred completed his dental training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2001, going on to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgery training in 2005 at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.  Dr. Hartman was selected as the chief resident for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2005.  Fred then went on to serve as a faculty member at the Washington Hospital Center and maintained a private practice in Bethesda, Maryland.

 

Dr. Hartman practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry and the surgical management of complex medical patients.  Specific clinical interests include dental implants, minimally invasive surgical techniques, adult and pediatric anesthesia and reconstructive maxillofacial surgery.  He is guided by a simple philosophy that clear communication with both patients and referring doctors leads to the best outcomes.

 

Fred is a member of the medical staff at Rhode Island, Miriam, and Landmark Hospitals and is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.   Additionally, Dr. Hartman holds Diplomat status with the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, is a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, the Rhode Island Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He served as the President of the Greater Woonsocket Dental Society and was recently elected by his peers to the Pierre Fauchard Academy.  

 

Outside of the office, Fred enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.  His other passions include surfing, golf, and volunteer work including international medical mission trips to perform cleft lip and palate surgeries.

 

 

John C. Figliolini, DMD

Dr. Figliolini is a native Rhode Islander raised in Providence and presently residing in Cumberland with his wife, Sheilah.

 

After graduating from Classical High School , he received a BA from Providence College with a Major in Biology.  He received his dental degree from New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating with high honors and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.  His oral and maxillofacial training was completed at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City .  He was chosen Chief Resident of the program in his third year.

 

Presently, he is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the Rhode Island Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association and the Greater Woonsocket Dental Society.

 

He has served as President of the R.I.A.O.M.S and the G.W.D.S. He served as chairman of the oral surgery committee evaluating office general anesthesia in RI for fifteen years.  He has been chairman of the Dental Department at Landmark Medical Center .

 

Dr. Figliolini has over 35 years of private practice with two office locations and has provided quality surgical care and general anesthesia to countless patients in the East Bay area and in Northern RI .  Dr. Figliolini’s skills compliment Drs. Domingo and Hartman’s many talents, resulting in one of the finest all encompassing yet patient oriented oral surgery practices in Southern New England .

 

When not involved in surgery, Dr. Figliolini can be found during the summer at Kirkbrae Country Club and during the winter on the slopes of Attitash Ski area in North Conway , NH .
